In Finland recently I met Crispin Sartwell, who teaches at Dickinson College and keeps a blog at eye of the storm. In his latest post he expresses enthusiasm for the speculative realist/OOO/OOP movement. He would certainly bring another dimension–what he’s been calling ‘bone-head’ realism for the past 25 years–to the discussion. Plus, he’s got a great new book called Political Aesthetics coming our with Cornell UP.
