cmu eliminates object-oriented programming
Carnegie Mellon University, a leader in robotics and computer science research, has eliminated something called object-oriented programming from its curriculum. This means very little to me, but it may be of interest to others.

Argues that the standard and status of teachers in the US needs to be raised. Check it out. This, of course, will never happen so long at the GOP and their media outlets continue to have the citizenry believe that teachers work less than the rest of the public sector and bring in a hefty salary and sweet benefits package. Here’s an informative video on just how lavish the public school teacher’s lifestyle is.
